Our fearless leader, Rachel coordinates wind sports events across North America, including Lighthouse 1000, Bridge of the Gods Kite & Wing Fest, and the Gorge Blowout. She has also helped organize numerous other events, including KB4C and the Gorge Challenge. From 2024–2026, Rachel helped raise over $100,000 USD for charitable causes. She is the CEO of Pro Leezure Event Productions.

Director of fun and stoke—and proud Broncos fan—Grom serves as Assistant Coordinator of Events in North America, including the Bridge of the Gods Kite & Wing Fest and the Gorge Blowout. He brings energy on and off the beach and has announced numerous major events, including Lord of the Winds and the East Coast Surfing Championships. From 2024–2026, Grom helped raise over $100,000 USD for charitable causes. He is also President of ProLeezure Event Productions.

Smile! Paul Porter is a professional photographer who has captured New York Fashion Week and produced branding imagery for a wide range of companies. A passionate sailing enthusiast, Paul runs sailing charter trips in Italy during the winter months and operates a charter sailing company on Whidbey Island near Seattle, Washington.

These two are a true dream team, but the real magic lies in their work with Amigos de Alumnos, the local nonprofit that Lighthouse 1000 proudly fundraises for. Through scholarship programs, Amigos de Alumnos helps local youth pursue higher education and has supported 235 students in attending high school or university. Phil & Emily also operate Casa Verde, a hotel and resort in La Ventana, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

As the hosts of Lighthouse 1000, they make this event possible—we truly couldn’t do it without them. They are the real title sponsors of the event. Their ventures include Elevation Kite & Wing Center, Joe’s Garage Craft Brewery, Baja Joe’s Hotel & Resort, and the facilitation of many other businesses within their resort. They also moonlight as concert promoters and host many other fundraising events at Baja Joe’s.
